"A wonderful cottage as a base for our first stay in Cornwall. Ideal position for visiting most of the main attractions within an hour - even lands end! Speed boat trip around Padstow, Eden Project and Minack Theatre were all highlights. For eating out, The Three Mackerels (Swanpool, Falmouth) excellent lunch; Stein's Fish and Chips (Padstow) traditional dinner; Jamie Oliver's Fifteen (Watergate Bay, Newquay) for breakfast, as you can't get in at any other time and don't have to book for breakfast!"

The Ralph family (Northampton, UK)
"A lovely, well equipped cottage. Well situated as a base to see Cornwall, most places within an hours drive. Goran Haven was a peaceful beach at this time of year, perfect for our 1 year old. Caerack was great too. We definitely would recommend the 'Holmbush Fish Bar' (it was better than Rick Stein's!) The 'White Pyramid' was a little old fashioned, but great steaks. Port Isaac was our favourite place, great mussels at 'The Slipway'"

The weather has been glorious so we've seen lots of the beaches - and there's plenty to choose from. There's so much to see and do, we'll have to come back (and back..and back..)"
